Step 7: Squaring Rear Axle
Using the rear axle alignment tool, place solidly against right side framerail and against back crossmember. Spin top and bottom right rear radius rods with equal turns until axle reaches alignment tool. Repeat same process for left rear. Once axle reaches tool at 5 inches and measurement on left rear from framerail to square is at 2 inches as shown in step 4, lock all jam nuts down. Rear axle squaring is complete.
The inside measurement between birdcages should measure 23 inches for pavement, and 21 inches for dirt. With a Bullrider axle, these measurements are grooved into the axle for snapring placement.
